What is MPLS network role in National Internet Backbone?
What is NIB?
NIB is the abbreviated form of "Nation Internet Backbone", It has been introduce in the telecommunication network for Internet Service Provider to meet the customer requirement with low capital investment in the long distance transmission equipment or backbone media . Nation Internet Backbone is based on the MPLS mechanism. There are various phases implemented in the NIB regarding Data speed with converged services. Now a day without MPLS architecture no any ISP provide the multiple service with same network. It is a special types of Routers that is connected in a mesh topology and work as P router, PE router concepts, we will know more about this in that blog.

What is MPLS?
Multi Protocol Label Switching is work in the Packet-Switched network and it communicate at TCP/IP layer . It is considered between layer 2 and layer 3 so MPLS often nkown as " Layer 2.5" Protocol. MPLS has designed to carries both types of client services either circuit-based and packet-based. MPLS work most efficient manner for class of service and quality of service.
MPLS is a Packet-forwarding technology which used labels for data forwarding decision.
What is a MPLS header?
MPLS header Play most important role in MPLS technology , it contains one or more "label" that is called a label stack. MPLS header has carries the MPLS packets.
There are some fields in each label stack:
1. 20-bit label.2. 3-bit label.
