The term broadband comes from "Internet services" , There is no any definition available for broadband every service provider define it accordingly. As per Telecom Regulatory Authority of India the minimum download speed is 512 kbps for an individual subscribers. Therefore we can say Broadband is an Internet connection that provide minimum download speed 512 kbps to the subscribers via copper pair line.
